Is there a Mail setting on the Samsung Galaxy S8 so that e-mails deleted on the server will also be deleted from the phone?
I have just upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S3 to S8. I set up the Mail app to access my Comcast e-mail via IMAP. Incoming e-mails are synching down to the S8 properly, as they did on the S3. On the S3, when I deleted an e-mail from the Comcast server, it disappeared from the Inbox on the phone. However, that is not happening on the S8. I have deleted messages on the server, but they are still in the Inbox on the phone, requiring me to delete them from their, too. Is there a setting I have missed? Any guidance would be appreciated.

It's important to have your email setup correctly so you're not doing double the work, CSL1120. You can follow this path to get to the server settings for your email on your phone if available: http://vz.to/2uym1KN . I would also recommend to check the server/security settings within your Comcast email itself to ensure it is set to erase your emails from both the server and your mobile device.
