Why is Music the default for my car's Bluetooth connection?

I use Spotify Premium, which always was the default on my Galaxy S3. With my S5, I have to stop and fiddle with the settings every time to get one of my Spotify playlists instead of the single track I have in Music to play. EVERY. DAMN. TIME. I have deleted the tracks in Music. I've stopped it, I've tried to delete it but no, it's one of those shitty programs that Verizon loads on your phone to annoy the shit out of you and remind you why you hate Verizon with a passion but have to stay with them because you live in the fucking third world and there isn't any competition that can come close to tower coverage in rural areas. So...how do I make Spotify my default Music app on a Galaxy S5? Or do I need an iPhone?
