Why are picture texts not loading?

I cannot open a text message picture of larger than 30kb.  I can open them in an email.  Why won't the text download? I have a Samsung Illusion.

I'd love to help you get your picture messages working D512! Do you get any error message when the picture tries to come in? When did this start? Are you able to access the 3G network?

I have a Samsung Illusion. No error message just goes until the phone goes

dark.I give up after 5 minutes. I have never been able to get a message

over 30kb even using my wifi at home.

I have found an old text picture that never downloaded. I deleted it and

also turned on the mobile data function. The mobile data just drains my

battery so fast that I had been turning it off and just using my wifi at

home or if I needed something when I was out. Seems like the mobile data

and the delete of the old undownloaded text seem to work. I still have to

have one person send me a picture since his seemed to be more of a problem.

Now if the battery life were better, I would be happy for now. We'll see!
