I know there are many threads on this topic already. I'm getting sick of not hearing anything from any Verizon representative. I just got a text 2 days ago from Verizon saying my bill will be ready on such-and-such date. Can I tell them that I have no information regarding that issue like they do about the update? This is ridiculous and if something doesn't happen soon I will be switching carriers. The nougat update is one thing , but to go months without our monthly security updates is ridiculous

Maybe we all should open new threads on this and flood the forums so they would have to take some kind on notice to how many are upset

tinner72, we can hear you loud and clear and we want nothing more than for everyone to get that update. We are always here and on many other forms providing assistance to any customer who reaches out to us. To be honest, we would love to the have the ability to push out updates upon request. In this case we all still have to wait until our individual phones gets that notification that an update is ready. We want everyone to know that we are not holding back any updates and that they are pushed out in a timely manner. You can continue to check for available updates by following the link: http://vz.to/2cXzphG

It has been released as of today. If you try to update and it says there is no updates, try again in a few days. The update will be released in stages.

The old saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" works for me here. I have read too many articles about big issues with the update. From broken Bluetooth to poor wifi to horrible battery drain to apps crashing all of the time. My only issue with my current S7 edge on Marshmallow is some battery drain. I would go nuts if it got worse. I charge it enough as it is. Everyone's scenario is different. It is suggested to do a clean install of the upgrade by doing a factory reset before upgrading. Seems like such a pain in the butt if it is working fine now.
On another note, does anyone know if VZW kept the Secure Folder that is apparently within Nougat?
