Upgraded from the Note 3(downsized I guess) and the stock browser is nowhere to be found. I do not like Chrome and that is the only option without downloading another app. Why did Verizon remove the Samsung stock browser and is there anyway to get it back?

Verizon did remove it as did some other carriers. There is no easy way to gt it back, but if you search the internet you might find the app and a way to get it back on your phone. How to Get Back the Stock Android (AOSP) Browser Without Rooting

This might be one of the reasons that Android removed the stock browser.
It sucks that without having the stock browser you do not get the integrated fingerprint functionality.
Plus that is not all that was removed from the phone; Smart Manager, Simple Sharing and the Microsoft apps.
