I just recently upgrade to the Galaxy S6 Edge from a Galaxy S4 and it is saying I need to set up my voicemail. Where did my old voicemail go? I had voicemails on there I wanted from my grandma and my nephew. I have not set up the new voicemail yet in hopes mine are still out there somewhere. Please help!

Most likely it is trying to set you up with Visual Voicemail. Make sure that feature is not enabled in My Verizon. Then, you should be able to go back to basic voicemail.

Set up voicemail again and go from there. Not much else you can do at this point. If you cannot access messages because voicemail is not set up, you can't get to them anyway until it is set up.

You were correct... I did the set up and they said that my "30 day free trial of visual voicemail" just started...i could then turn it off and everything is back to normal. Thank you for your help!
