Unable to get a full day's use of my Samsung Galaxy S8+

I am frankly annoyed and highly disappointed that I paid $900 for a premium cellphone using a premium network and I cannot get a full day's use out of my Samsung Galaxy S8+.  The battery drains too fast for a $900 phone that was purchased less than 4 months ago.

Has anyone been experiencing this issue?

I charged the phone to 100% and then rebooted the phone. Here it is 2 hours after the phone was rebooted with 100% battery life and the battery is at 54%! At this rate the phone will be dead in 2 hours! This is absolutely not acceptable for a premium phone that cost more than my laptop and my desktop combined.

I am expecting VZW to provide a SOLUTION that does not include a MASTER RESET!

it depends how you use the phone. many updates/sync of email, social app, wx, stock/bonds, watching videos eat up the battery.

do you ever re-boot or charge with the phone off??
