I got into developer mode, changed usb configuration to MTP(me dia transfer protocol), PTP(picture transfer protocol) and RNDIS( usb ethernet).   every time I plug in the USB it says

USB device not recognized.  The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it.

Windows 10 PC and Note5 phone.

I've got into device manager and did update drivers.  No dice. 

HELP.  I'm upgrading to Note8 and want to back up other things that doesn't update to Verizon cloud
