Brand new Samsung S3.
No apps installed.
Few hours out of box and experiencing issues when sending text messages.
Whenever I send a text message it keeps telling me the message failed. No error code. However, the recipient receives multiple of the identical message.
Again, no apps have been installed; using stock messaging application.
This happens in any location (home, work, other locations). Full bars of connectivity (showing 4G icon).
Any suggestions? Faulty phone?

Tried removing the battery and putting it back in? Could be temporary glitch. I have the same phone and that happens rarely but it does, taking out the battery fixes it.

Yes, removing battery and then did a hard reset as well. Problem still occurred.
However, as of today the problem seems to have resolved itself.
Let's give it another day and time will tell.

I just received a new Galaxy S 3 as well and my texting has started doing the same thing. It was working but than stopped. Tells me message failed and the error code reads Addr.Trns. But I don't believe anyone is getting my message's no matter how many times I tried resending. I did a hard re-boot, but have not tried removing the battery. But I am about to try that.

I have the same problem. I had my phone for about 10 months and this started happing in recent weeks. Very frustrating. I've read through the Verizon customer support replies and tried the suggestions and none work. I want this phone replaced.
