I have had my phone for over 2 years. I have a Galaxy S 3 and am using "Verizon Messages" as my text app. For some reason, now when I receive a text message, it rings the notification sound and then also says " Message Received From --------"and gives the name of the person. How do I stop this? It is very annoying most of the time. I just want my notification sound. Not the voice.
I haven't made any changes to my phone. It just started doing it. I'm sure it's due to an update, but there HAS to be a way to shut this off.
Pleae help!

Is it possible that the Driving Mode has been turned on?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
