I just got a Samsung Galaxy SIII and am learning about it slowly. I have added many events on my Google calendar on my Samsung S III but they don't show up on the google calendar when I log into my google account????

Have you enabled syncing? From inside you calendar app, click on "calendars", and make sure you've enabled your Google calendar, otherwise whatever events you enter on your phone will stay on the local calendar.
I just did that and then logged into my google account but nothing is on the calendar. Do I have to wait awhile?
You should not have to wait. The one thing you might want to make sure of though is that the events you entered on your phone are entered in your Google calendar and not the "my calendar", which is the local calendar. If they were entered on "my calendar", just edit them and change the calendar selection and that should do the trick.
