Want to add... How many people will believe them. There's already timelines and charts how the upgrade process works and people don't even bother with them from the manufacturers. If they say what's on the chart people will not believe. Hmmm wonder if that T-Mobile thread is still up. Someone from T-Mobile front office responded to a FCC inquiry. The FCC was satisfied. People said it was a lie but it fit the above what I said which were verified multiple times and made by manufacturers themselves. They are still expecting T-Mobile to push an update that Samsung hasn't delivered.

I just called Samsung directly. Gave them my baseband version and everything. According to them it is entirely up to Verizon as to when the update gets applied...

Sorry to burst your bubble. A low level rep will NEVER know what is going on ever. The computer in front of them would never give that information. If it was that easy we'd always know when the international versions were getting updated, but we don't. Food for thought.

Try get someone from the front office which would know and has clout. Not a low level rep that'll say anything to get you off the phone.

The update was just released to the carriers on the 19th. Give them a few weeks to test it.

Test it, remove key enhancements, add bloatware, test again. Your notion of a few weeks would be nice, but try a few months to be realistic.

I Would rather wait and get a bug free version than get it now.
