So I got the galaxy s8+ like a month ago and I tried to put a screscreen protector on it but it just didn't stay on, and now I have some scratches on the screen! I was wondering if there's anything I can do other than replace the screen? But if not, would Verizon be be able to do it in a store?

Unfortuantely if there are scratches, only a screen replacment will have any effect. Verizon does not do any phone repairs, though with an insurance claim there are some centers that do screen replacments in certain areas-- but you would have to call Asurion to do the claim for that reason in order to be given the option if in one of these eligible locations.
Hope that helps

Asurion can certainly replace for scratches, which is physical damage--assuming you don't mind paying the deductible for scratches.
