Samsung S8+ Update removed Homescreen Icon Titles and Wi Fi notification

Hi, the last update removed the Titles of the Icon's on the Homescreen. Is there any way to turn them back on? 

Also, when I am connected to WiFi, I used to have a notification that showed what I was connected to. Now I have to dig into settings to get to it. Any way to turn on the notification so I can see in the homescreen pull down like I had before?

We always want to make sure you are able to customize your device the way you want it, ROBVONKEL. Let's look into this together. If you look in Settings> Connections> Wi-Fi> Advanced> are Wi-Fi Notifications turned on?

 

Is it just the apps on the bottom of the home screen that do not have titles? If you drag them to another spot on the screen does the title show up?
