Samsung Galaxy S3 Screen not responsive after Update.

Hey guys, I recently updated my Samsung, about a week later my screen stopped working. It wouldn't respond to touch, so I was told to factory reset it. I did, and now I'm just on the start up screen, still unable to input selections due to the screen being unresponsive.

My question and concern is this; I purchased an upgraded phone through Sam's Club. My number was eligible for an upgrade, so I went through them because the phone was $40, as opposed to Verizons $127.

Would I still be able to get a replacement phone sent to me because the Screen digitizer either died, or there was a software/hardware malfunction during or after the update?

It certainly seems as if you've done all you can to get your phone working, ncook07. Issues with the touch screen not working are pretty rare when not caused by any damage, but there's a 1 year manufacturer's warranty for just such the occurance. Which brings me to a pretty important question, has your phone been exposed to any liquid damage or physical damage? If not, then we can replace your phone through our Certified Like-New Replacement Program http://vz.to/uyYF0o. Keep in mind that if your phone is still within the Sam's Club return/exchange period or if you purchased a separate insurance/warranty through Sam's Club, you'd be best to reach out to them for the replacement. If your phone has been damaged and you selected Asurion insurance instead of the Sam's Club coverage, you can visit http://bit.ly/07CrqPK to file your claim.
