I updated about a week or so ago (can't remember the exact date). Today my S5 keeps telling me Storage Space Running out. It did this right after the update too so I deleted several applications. Today it won't let me go delete anything as it says "whatever" has stopped working. I tried to delete email, texts, etc. but they close on me before I can delete it. So frustrated! It has been such a great phone until today and I have a year before I can upgrade Anyone have any ideas?

if you don't have an sd card.....(phone didn't come with one)....apps, pics, music, etc are in phone storage & there's only so much room.

I get that but all the sudden today it's gone crazy! I had deleted a bunch of things throughout the week. Now it won't let me delete anything but have been able to disable a couple of things.

For example...it says "Google Play has stopped working". Email, messages, S Health, etc. keep popping up "not working". When it started this craziness all my contacts were just their phone numbers...no names. The names have returned tho ugh. I hadn't had any problems with this phone until today

go to Settings > Storage > and see what is using the space. Start your research there.
I just had a similar experience and my problems was my contacts went from 1.2 MB of storage to 1.9 GB.

Thanks! I'm going to move all my pictures to an external drive today and get them off my phone. Next step is to get an sd card I guess too.
