They were helpful; I have 14 days from the day I got the phone.

I'm not happy having to pay $850.00 to be a bug tester/final QA specialist for Samsung.  I REALLY was excited and wanted to like the phone.  Gotta start shopping for something else. I always seem to jump on the "hype train" and become an early adopter (computers/tvs/etc.) but this is the first time I wish I had waited.

-cell signal so weak the phone wouldn't set up on first power up (other phones in the house have low signal, but work). Had to drive to a tower to set it up.

-unable to send/recieve mms, group tests

-can only make calls on wifi - low to no signal.

-wifi issue

-constant DQA errors (turn off the wifi, but then no calls).

and I have been through the entire internet Smiley Happy trying to patch/band aid/resolve these issues.

Anyway, I hope whoever has an S8/S8+ has good luck and those that are thinking about one, think a little longer.

I have the S8+ and aside from my error of improperly setting up my email, mine is performing flawlessly. I am a big fan of Samsung and Verizon , however I do have one major gripe. I have had a Samsung Note 3  for the last 4 plus years and when the new unlimited plan came out and the new S8+ was introduced I couldn't hold back so I have a better plan and a New phone that is amazing. The problem ? Just today I found out the specs on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy NOTE 8 ! 6.4 screen ! Better battery and a lot of improvements like a DUAL LENS Camera ! I love the Note Phones. I wish I had waited. In September , when the Note 8 phones are released , I will probably take a loss and trade my S8Plus in for the Note 8 .

Back to your problem, maybe you just got a bad one. Take my word for it, the S8+ is a GREAT Phone, and the phones just keep getting better. 🙂

I upgraded from the S6 to the 8+ and aside from user error in setting up my email account and some difficulty transferring data (I was too impatient to have the Costco do it), I love this phone!  The battery life is so much better.  I am am currently at 36% battery life and last charged the phone Monday night. I was having to charge the 6 twice a day.  My only complaint is trying to find a case that doesn't hide the edge notification and to fix the email images displayed.

My galaxy 8 is harder to type you have to really hit it hard .I just don't like the set up. I want my 7 back. I want to trade back..I hope I can, Never had so much problem with a phone, I enjoyed my other one ,I don't enjoy this one
