I've started having problems since today's update. some apps don't work, text messaging sends me an error and shuts down on both sending and receiving messages. What was the update supposed to accomplish?

Can you please test the device in safe mode to see if the same types of errors are duplicated: http://vz.to/1c5ROI3 The last resort option is a hard reset to get the phone back to factory settings.
