Poor coverage with galaxy s7

I bought an unlocked galaxy s7 to replace my finances broken phone. I already had a verizon galaxy s7 myself so now I have 2 of the exact same phones on my plan. However the unlocked s7 never gets more than 2 bars. It drops calls, takes longer for texts to send and data usage is extremely slow. I work in Atlanta and I even have the problem there. I've held the 2 phones side by side and the unlocked s7 will have no LTE with 1 bar while my other s7 has 4g with 4 bars. I've spent hours on the phone with verizon customer support speaking with all levels of tech specialists and have done everything told to try. They finally told me that I needed to contact Samsung which I have and the phone is fine. So I'm not sure why im having this issue on one of the countries largest networks. I've always liked verizon before this, but now I'm ready to swap carriers if this issue isn't resolved immediately.

it's the problem with buying used, someone sold or traded for a reason.

The phone was factory unlocked from Samsung. It came in its factory packaging...box, seals and plastic

The last thing we want is for you to leave Verizon Wireless due to this issue, Mgault. When using a phone that has not been provided by Verizon Wireless, this can cause issues as the device is not designed specifically for our network. Although the two phones look the same on the outside, the internal programming can be different which can then lead to differences in reception and ultimately use of the device. We are unable to guarantee a non-Verizon Wireless device will work as expected on our network. I am sorry to be the bearer of this news. When did you first notice an issue with the signal strength? Have there been any recent changes, updates, or updates available for the unlocked device?

I noticed it right away after activating it. Over the next couple days I spoke for hours with tech support level 1 and 2

Mgault - I appreciate the information you provided. We want to do everything we can to help you resolve the issues your finance has with her device. To better assist you, I need to ask you some additional questions. Did we provide a new SIM card for your fiances new Galaxy S7? Have you tried using a new Verizon SIM card to see if the issues with her service are resolved? What software and hardware versions does your fiance's phone have? Settings > About phone > Hardware version. To see the software version, tap on Software information.
