My Galaxy s5, which I've had since November, is only sending half my text messages all of the sudden. The half that do send take a very long time. And I'm not getting a confirmed delivery receipt message. I tried taking out the battery and restarting, but nothing changed.
Lets ensure your device is running in prime condition! How long has this been occurring? What happens when you attempt to send a text message? Any error messages?

I just got this phone June 15th and it has done this the entire time. It will not send texts. I have to copy text, go to a downloaded app paste the text then send it and go back to the original text that still says sending and delete it.
Try turning airplane mode ON for a minute and then back OFF. It sounds like you have a faulty SIM card which may require replacing. Thankfully that's free from a Verizon Corporate store. How are your phone calls?
