Have tried everything to get it to ring louder that is on this phone it is awful you cannot hear it 3 feet away. Is everybody having this problem with this model or is mine a piece of expensive JUNK.

I am sorry to hear you're having trouble with your ringer not being loud enough. The device is great device and such issues with loud ringers vary from user to user depending on factors. Just to make sure, have you attempted to adjust the volume as high as it will go? If so, perhaps checking the Playstore for an app can help as you try various ones to see which ones you would benefit from. I checked the Playstore myself and found many to choose from.
