Patiently waiting for a 32GB S4

I'd really like to upgrade my phone, but have heard nothing on a 32Gb S4.  Does anyone have any idea on when one will be announced?  In the mean time, I become more and more dissatisfied with Verizon, after almost 15 years as a customer.

It sounds as if you might be happier with another provider. I know I would not stay with a provider which dissatisfied me.

If you are dissatisfied with a provider and becoming more so, why would you stay?

The old saying the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence.  It is available at other carriers.  VZW did not sell the Note 2 in 32gb.  They discontinued the S3 32gb so they could stock other newer phones (none 32gb) and there was a statement  by VZW on an android news site that the S4 32gb would not be sold by VZW.  There are still a few rumors floating last of July for VZW to sell S4 32gb but they are very loose rumors.  Supposed to be an email someone copied and pasted to another android news site from a marketing person of VZW but it does not look official.  I have not seen any confirmation of that email of any kind from VZW.  So until you hear an official announcement from VZW that it will sell S4 32gb phones everything is just a rumor.

Hi Spiff52,

15 years of loyalty is fantastic! New phones are always exciting. We always want our customers to be happy by providing the best device selections.  We currently have no information on the 32GB SG4. You can keep up with all the latest news here http://bit.ly/n5snpq. Have a great day!

Thanks,

Thanks.  I just wish that you would announce something soon.  Please pass on to your Phone decision makers to please let us know what is going on?  Thanks!

The wait may not be much longer...  I just went to buy a 16GB Galaxy S4, and was told by the folks at the store that the 32GB model would be available for order starting on 7/3.

In case you missed it, the 32gb is available to order now online.  I wish they had the 64gb too, but I doubt that will happen, so I went ahead and ordered it myself.

Thanks for the information, I did miss it and will order mine soon.  I was hoping for the update to come before the 32gb but I also know the way VZW puts out its updates. Thanks again

Pamelaf_vzw,

I find it hard to believe that just one week before Verizon announces that the 32 gb s4 is available that you and others who work for Verizon ( especially in "customer support" ) had no information on IF or WHEN YOUR company would be offering this phone. There are probably a great many loyal customers who opted for the 16 gb version in the last few weeks who are kicking themselves this morning...makes them feel VERY SUPPORTED as customers I bet. If by some twisted scenario that you were kept in the dark by VZW on the information about the 32 gb s4, then I certainly would apologize for how harsh I am being toward you specifically. The bottom line here is MANY of us have done our part as loyal VZW customers for many years and these things make us feel like the corporate giants just don't care about customers who pay thier bills on time and keep coming back year after year.

Just Hoping for Truth,

Sea Hunter

You've never worked for a large company before, have you?

I guarantee you, this release was kept hidden from any "customer facing" employee until it was announced to the public because that's how large companies operate. They would rather get a little bit of bad PR (threads like this, where people feel mislead) than give a competitive advantage to their opposition (other companies tend to launch products at the same time to "take the wind out of their sails" if they have enough lead time to do so). The executives who make decisions like this tend to be very disconnected from the general public, and public opinion. Why do you think they do boneheaded things like upgrade fees (instead of simply raising phone prices by $30)?

TLDR: VzW treats their front-line employees just like they treat their customers.
