I am having a problem syncing my S7 with my laptop. What is the correct way to do this? I have never had a problem with this.

You have to activate the Developer options. You do that by going to the About phone setting. Then you tap 7 times on Build number. This turns on Developer options. Then go the Developer options and change the USB configuration from charging to MTP. This should allow your computer to recognize the phone.

Also try checking the box that says "enable USB debugging" if still having issues as this has been the issue for me in some cases....

Hanjor, being able to sync your information with multiple devices is a great way to protect your content. What specifically are you trying to share between your devices? Are you getting an error message when you plug your phone up to your computer?
