What is Verizon going to do about those pre-orders (especially the Silver Edge) that will not ship until 3/31 and will not be received until after the 3/31 cutoff date for Samsung Gear VR or S2 Watch promotion?

This is also my question. It seems a bit ridiculous to ask for people to pre-order and then not be ready to ship on time,

I'm in the same boat and honestly would not have upgraded quite yet if I had known that I would be a victim of bait and switch. Especially when there are only 30,000 gear S2 units to be given out. If I can't get what I assumed I was entitled to and was lead to believe I would have in my hand today, I am already getting quotes from other carriers that might actually deliver on their promises. Never in my life have I pre-ordered something and not received it on the release date. I've been with verizon for 10 years and I cant believe they would have the nerve to just tell me (or anyone for that matter) "you'll get it when you get it"

I would like to know as well what will be done. I know for a fact that i wouldn't have upgrade just yet if it was for this and i shouldn't have to choose a color that i don't want in order to get this promotion. If that's the case then verizon should put on there that the silver does not qualify.

Seriously, I have been a customer for over 10 years after being begged to by my daughter. Throughout these 10 years and many problems someone always seems to be on a new update schedule not allowing us out of our plan so we deal and deal and deal with stuff. We pay our bill every month and all the added things they have changed over the years without complaint. Why is it that you can never come through for me Verizon? I have been watching this phone since I heard about it, ordered it right away on the 23rd when it was available to pre-order in much anticipation for the watch as well. After numerous calls, I have heard NOTHING to explain why my phone is not here but friends whom have ordered 6-7 days later already have theirs. The ONLY email I have gotten to this point so far only says it will ship on 3/11/16. Where is my phone?

I ordered my phone on 3-9 and it said it would ship on 3-11. I really hope you didn't "suddenly discover" you didn't have enough phones to complete the order. Is it just silver that is back ordered or all models? Also very curious as to the watch since it is the reason I took the risk and pre ordered.

Verizon - I have been a customer of yours since you were AirTouch in 1998. I pre-ordered the Galaxy S7 Edge in Titanium Silver on 3/2--at which time the shipment date showed 3/11. The only reason I decided to pre-order is to take advantage of the S2 offer you still displaying on your website. Now, my order reads 3/31 as the ship date, which would put the S7 Edge in my hands after the offer for the free S2 ends.
As a loyal customer for 18 years, I ask if you could please communicate what is going on with the shipments to us. Let us know what is going to happen with the S2/VR offer that is still advertised on your website. I've called customer support and they have no idea what's going on either. Please open the lines of communication.
