My phone recently starting turning off whenever I get a text. Not always or with any certain contact. Only started after update a few days ago. I will get my text alert sound, I will look at phone and itches shut down to the Verizon screen then turns back on.

Samsung galaxy edge 6plus. Not sure if it helps any but when it happens I will hear my text sound then a screeching sound as it cuts off. (Think dial up internet)
