So,  V  strikes again... They simply removed AutoReply from the option... & the 'agent' suggested: why not turn on driving mode! What a genius...

Which phone do you have?  Was this after an update?

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Frjimnt, we want your phone to work properly and to your needs. Let's work together on this, What make & model of phone do you have? Did you update the software on your device?

Not only was the phone updated, I backed it up, spent 3 hrs on the phone w a Verizon agent (that I should have been on the road to a wedding in ny), only to have this advice: just use driving mode.... I have a Samsung s6..

No... Marshmallow was updated long ago, it simply disappeared...

That is odd frjimt. While I do not have the S6, I do have the Droid Turbo 2 and my Autoreply options did remain with the Marshmallow update. There's no icon for it anymore but once my phone shows the phone button to answer or end the call I can swipe that phone icon up instead to respond with an Autoreply message. This is only done when the screen was already off and not if I'm viewing an active display during the time of the call. Do you receive any options when swiping up on your phone icon. I've tested an S5 with Marshmallow and it shows those replies as available when swiping up from a locked or sleep screen.
