That is a very valid question, jaraschutt. We have been advised that this is operating as designed since the update. It will take some getting used to. We are very sorry for the frustration this has caused.

Whose end is it on? Verizon or Samsung? I need to know because it is something I do NOT want to get used to. I take privacy seriously, as should your company. So I need to know whose end it is on so I know which to get rid of.
i suspect it is samsung because it is their UI. verizon may add apps and block features to devices, but the UI is in samsung's control. i "think" the same issue exists on other carriers.
