ceeinsocal,
Being able to connect to WiFi is definitely important so help manage your data usage, so I completely understand your concern. What Droid device do you have? ASre you unable to connect to any open wifi connection? Is everything okay when connecting to secure wifi connections?

Um, well it's a Samsung Galaxy S5, as it says in the title.Actually I have two of them, one for work, one for personal. I have the same problem with both of them. They work fine on a secured WiFi. The problem occurs when an open WiFi needs a login from a browser. I have tried both phones (identical except for the color) on several WiFis with the same results. If a browser log in is required I can't get to the login. Otherwise WiFi works perfectly. Jeff Schneider schneider_101@yahoo.com 617 686 4453 (mobile)
