My upgrade is not completing; I was prompted to upgrade, the S4 restarts, but Settings still shows Android 4.4.2. No error messages, no alerts, no notifications...called VZW tech and they said "maybe you don't have enough room." But they are unable to tell me how much space is needed. Currently 9% free.
Now getting another pop-up: "Software update ready to install"
Guess I'll try to free up space...just don't know how much.

At the 3rd attempt, the S4 answers the question with the following:
Please make room for the update.
There's not enough room to install this update right now. You need at least 2.08GB of available space.
So there ya have it!

Yes, the update has to have enough space to download to even if it is over-writing the previous installation.
