How do I view deleted contacts?

I accidentally deleted several contacts.  My phone has backed up since then.  Is there any way to go to an earlier backup and get those contacts back?  Kind of like restore points on a PC?

If via Google account backup, check contacts settings in Gmail..Via Verizon Cloud...check trash.
