I may try a factory reset before I return my lousy S4 because the WiFi doesn't work and Verizon knows it but likes my data charges.
I know from experience that when you do a factory reset you lose your text message history.
Anyway I can save my texts somewhere and then after the reset or if I get a new Andriod, which is most likely, return them to my phone?
Thanks, Dave

Yes, if you use a text backup app from the Play Store, like SMS Backup & Restore.
