How do I remove a SIM card?

I just got a new Samsung Galaxy S4, and when I went to install the SIM card, I discovered there was already a SIM card installed.  The directions at Verizon Wireless said this might happen, but they didn't say what to do.  I presume I should remove that SIM card and install the one that came attached in the red card, but can't figure out how.

You should be able to use either SIM card and just hang onto the other one for a spare.  Should you need it:
