How do i transfer all my contacts, photos, notes, music, etc. from my samsung galaxy s3 to my computer? I have the "adownloadernew" app which is where all my music is downloaded from.

Connect phone to USB cable that came with the phone. Connect the other end of the cable to an open USB port on the computer. Computer loads drivers. Open the file explorer program on the computer. Explore the phone from the program. Drag and drop.
Please tell me what is so confusing about it?
Although if you have a Mac that requires a different instruction set.

If you're saving your contacts to your Google account or Verizon's Backup Assistant, you can retrieve them from those sources. Photos, documents, and music can be transferred by 'dragging and dropping' as described above. There also are apps in Google Play that will back up your files (SMS Backup and Restore works well for texts).
