Having issues with NFL Mobile app

I had posted once before about this and I have still gotten no answers on a solution and my original thread has been locked , so I can't post in that thread anymore.

I have been having a problem streaming NFL games through my NFL Mobile app. Every time I try to watch a game, I get a message that says there is a connection error and that I should check my mobile network connectivity and try again. The only time I ever have this problem is when trying to watch games. The NFL Now feature works perfectly fine and all other features of the app work fine. In the other thread that I posted this in, Customer Support had exhausted all avenues on their end and suggested that I contact NFL Mobile customer support. I have done that twice and I have gotten ZERO response from them as to what to do anymore. This is very disappointing. The game stream is one of the major features of the app and to not have access to that is not pretty lousy. For the people that make the app to completely ignore my complaints and requests for help is even more disappointing.

Any suggestions at this point?

  1. Check content availability (e.g. regular season out-of-market Sunday games are not available on NFL Mobile app)
  2. Ensure account is in good standing (no service interruptions due to collection).
  3. Verify that location settings are enabled. These must be enabled to watch live games.
  4. Un-install and re-install the app. On a device with NFL Mobile pre-loaded, Clear the cache.
  5. Download the most recent version of the app from their respective marketplace. 
    1. Android: Scroll to the bottom of the Google Play Store and look for Current Version.
    2. iOS: Look for Version on the left side of the Apple App Store. iOS 8 users must download NFL Mobile version 11.1.2 or later.
  6. Windows: Scroll slightly down the left side of the Microsoft Store and look for Version.
  7. Blackberry: No longer supported. 
  8. For Android and Verizon, clear app cache/data in Applications Manager, and/or un-install updates, and update the app again.
  9. Disable/remove ad-blocking software/extensions/apps.
  10. Route all other issues with the app, including live streaming, authentication, downloading and installation, settings, debugging, etc. directly to the NFL. Instruct the user to:◦Open NFL Mobile App.
    1. Select More on iOS or three horizontal line menu icon on Android from the home screen.
    2. Select Customer Feedback.
    3. Select Troubleshooting.
    4. Select Contact Support.
    5. Reach out for additional support via:◦Email: mobilecs@nflhelp.com

No suggestions, just a concurrence that the NFL app is inconsistent and glitchy while trying to watch the games.  Some games will play fine; others keep stopping, video unavailable, check back later ... the app just stops.

It doesn't seem to matter what device (I've seen issues on these boards from Samsungs, Motorolas, LG's - a variety of devices); it's the app itself.  Wifi, cellular, those connections can be strong and steady, and the app still glitches.  I do enjoy watching the games when it's working, but it's frustrating when it isn't working.

So far, my pRobles has actually been solved. Someone suggested that I uninstall the latest update to the factory install version and then reinstall the latest update. I did that over the weekend and everything worked fine. We'll see if it stays this way for this weekend's games
