Great question, it's always good to know what the indicators and time stamps mean. On your phone, the time stamp indicates the time you received the message, not when it was sent. Only the person sending it can see the time they sent it.

Great question, it's always good to know what the indicators and time stamps mean. On your phone, the time stamp indicates the time you received the message, not when it was sent. Only the person sending it can see the time they sent it.
