Google Now and Android 4.1.1?

Just purchased phone.  Thought since it was 4.1.1 I'd get Google Now.  Can't find Google Now.  Is it available for 4.1.1 through Verizon?

You can access it by either touching the Google search widget, or long press the home button, and it'll pull up the task manager, which will give you 3 options at the bottom of the screen. The middle one is Google Now. Hope this helps.

S3 and the Note2 you can hold the menu button and it'll take you to Google Now.

That's Google Now. You have to make sure you turned it on.

Here's a similar thread I posted screen shots. It is on the mobile version of the site. When I get home I can show the desktop version. The instructions are in there as well to turn Now on.

Using the "Send" option on the first post of a thread in the mobile version gets you the desktop link to the discussion.
