Galaxy S7 screen turned purple in corner this morning and now screen is mostly black. Help?

Cannot see any display. Is this a factory phone issue?

It could be due to a defect with the phone if it's not damaged

I would give Samsung a call. It maybe a problem that they are aware of or they may know of a way to fix it.

Did the purple color resemble that of an ink spot from a pen as though it was bleeding on the screen or just a screen discoloration of your pixels? Did the screen recently experience any type of hard impact or pressure?
