I am about dumb as they come with all this techy stuff. I have a Galaxy III that I did a software update on last week (as prompted by Verizon). Now the bar on the top that displays the time, date and how much charge is on the battery is all white so I can't see it. Missed a couple of texts because I didn't know they were there. How do I get the color back (i.e. battery green/red, date arrows in and out, etc). Thanks for answering my dumb question.

Google changed the standard color of the icons in the notification bar to all white. Samsung is following that design standard. It is here to stay.
