Can someone at Verizon tell me why they're still rolling this out?
I come here and find out that they've known what it's been doing to our phones since they started sending it out weeks ago, yet they're too stupid to stop rolling it out?? It's bad enough that it's screwed up my phone beyond belief, but the last thing I need is to have to do a factory reset on every other S4 that my family owns!

Up until very recently, the only people who will admit knowing about the NG6 update disaster are unfortunate users who have had their phones made virtually unusable . According to recent posts, VZW Customer Service is finally admitting that this is a 'known issue'. Until this admission, they have been telling users the fix is to do a factory reset. I totally agree that the update push should be stopped and a fix found before pushing it again. So far, I've been able to put off the N6G download. Eventually, it will happen automatically. Hopefully, there will be a fix before that happens.

Because most devices update without any significant issues other than having to readjust some applications default settings after installation.

I just installed the latest firmware NK1 and it fixed my S4's random rebooting without having to do a factory data reset!
