Email accounts won't sync after Kit Kat Update

How do I use my email apps on the Galaxy 4 after the Kit Kat update? No matter what I do to activate the sync I still get the message: 'Sync is turned off.' None of my email accounts are working.

I'm sorry you are having trouble with your email application, Princeluvr. Are you using the preinstalled application or a third party? Since this problem started, have you tried removing the email address and re-adding it?
