The email app on my GS3 has been working fine since October. I havent been able to recieve any emails from my Yahoo account since 12/18/12. I tried deleting the account off the phone but it wont delete, it just says remove account with a spinning dial. Help???

I posted this in another post but try this... it worked for me..
I tried to go thru the Yahoo Mail tab on the email client and it kept coming up with error: 503
I set it up as other email, went thru the manual set up and followed this on Yahoo and it works fine now.. here are the steps i found on Yahoo :
IMAP is another way you can get Yahoo! Mail on your phone.
How to set up Yahoo! Mail with your mobile client using IMAP
- Incoming Server - imap.mail.yahoo.com
- Outgoing Server - smtp.mail.yahoo.com
- Incoming Port - 993 (requires SSL)
- Outgoing Port - 465 (requires SSL)
- Username: full email address (bill@yahoo.com)
- Password: is the password you login to Yahoo! with

This seems to be an app problem, not a phone problem... here is a repost of what worked for me (from forum CAN'T RECEIVE EMAILS ON SAMSUNG STRATASPHERE), the menu path is from a stratosphere so it may be different for your phone.
