I need to import contacts saved on Kies (on a laptop) from a Galaxy S2 in .spb format to a Galaxy S6. Kies does not recognize the S6 so I upgraded to Kies 3, which cannot find the contacts file on my computer. Any suggestions?
On the S2, sign in with gmaill and save the contacts as google contacts. Then set the S6 to sync with google and your contacts will be updated.
Yes, Kies is useless with newer models. I Use Google as default for all contacts and calendar.
Unfortunately I don't have the S2 anymore (trade in). The salesperson did a back-up from the S2 to the S6 but those contacts and all the pictures didn't transfer. Fortunately, I had recently done a back-up on Kies so I have the stuff on my laptop. But I don't know how to get the info from the laptop to the S6.
