I changed the security of my home network to WPA2 and now cannot connect to it. I can connect to other networks with no problem. I have tried several fixes (forget network, reboot, take battery out, etc.). I found some suggestions on the Internet but can't get to the service menu to try those.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Ian

I apologize for the inconvenience, Ian. Upon review we do not have specifics regarding access to a service menu. Also try adjusting the broadcast channel on both the router and the device under WiFi>Advanced Settings.
Thank you,

Hi,
Thanks for contacting me. Unfortunately no, I do not get any errors. The S4 cycles to try to connect but then just returns to having the network as Saved. On the router, I changed the encryption to TKIP and AES but that did not help either. I have also tried hard reboots of the phone.
I have seen Youtube videos where folks have figured out how to fix this but it requires access to the phone's service menu. I searched for the dialer codes to see this screen on Verizon S4's but none of the codes I have found work.
Thanks
Ian

Do you have any non-letter/number characters (spaces or symbols) in either your SSID or Password? Some routers allow this, but don't handle it too well when some devices try to connect. You can also change both your SSID and Password on the router and try again.

Hi,
SSID and Password are both mixed-case alphanumeric. I'll try updating the name to see if that works.
Does anyone know how to get to the service page of the S4? I could try the solutions I have found on youtube then. It involved identifying the phones mac address, I think.
Thanks,
Ian
