I have the Galaxy SIII. I have had several people tell me that when I send a text it is either "jiberish" or "all squares" even though I can see what I text on my phone. I went to Verizon and they told me the problem was on the receiving end. I live in NC and it first started with people in Iowa. Verizon said it "had" to be Iowa. However, I have since had people in SC and a neighbor right next door tell me the same thing. To me it is not obvious that it is a problem on the receiving end. Has ANYONE else had this problem and is there a fix????????????????? Thanks. Ritah5129

Are you using the stock texting app? Are the people receiving gibberish on Verizon or another wireless carrier? Are they iPhone users? Are you using a special font to type and display characters that have accent marks or diacritics? Are you including smileys, icons, or a signature? Many wireless gateways will not correctly handle 16-bit characters necessary for many foreign languages.
