Camera is not working

My camera app pops up with a notification that pictures will be saved to the SD card, but I can't dismiss it or take pictures. Is this an exchange-for-new type of problem? I've only had it for a day.

This is absolutely a great device and I apologize that for this issue after just having the device for one day. Have you attempted to reboot the device to see if this helps? Are there any options on the pop up notification that you can select?

I have. The only way I managed to get the camera to work was by removing the SD card. I'm going to try another SD card to see if I can isolate the issue.

My camera stopped working after the last update, says "warning camera failed"  then closes when I hit ok.

the phone defaults to saving pics to the sd card if card is installed.

check in camera settings if you have an option to save to the phone.

i personally want the pics on the card & apps on the phone.
