Camera Failed Error

Well, brand new Galaxy S3, and the camera does not work. Removed all downloaded apps (error "Camera failed"), booted in safe mode, no good, same error. Did a hard reset , same error. Bought it from Verizon, how do I get a replacement? How do I re-instate my faithful Blackberry while I am waiting for the replacement?

Hey,

I had the same problem. I talked with Tier 1, 2 technical specialist at Verizon and they didnt know anything about it either. They suggested that I should talk with Samsung tech and he had no idea as to why my 1 month old, recently updated to Jelly Bean Samsung galaxy S3's camera was failing to start. Samsung tech then suggested that I should send the device back to them which is gonna take them 2-3 weeks to fix.

Best option was to return the phone to Verizon and get a new one. I had the same problem as you mentioned above and verizon nor samsung has any solutions for it.

Hope this helps.

You can reactivate your old phone online via My-Verizon, via *611 from your phone, at the store location, or by contacting customer service.
