I would suggest that you clear the cache partition by Volume up-power-home
that will take you to a screen that will have an option to clear the cache partition.This will clear out old files so that there is no conflick with them
and the new ones.
I would also make a new backup of the phone so that if you do run into problems
you will at least have a new backup.If your phone does not run right after the update you may have to do the factory reset.Your phone may run the battery down really quick after the update and I know by doing the cache clear partition
