Autonomous Camera Flash After Latest Software Update

Since upgrading my S III software a few days ago I noticed the flash for the camera illuminates randomly when the phone is on but not in use (screen locked).  I disabled the flash using the settings feature but the flash still illuminates randomly.  I guess the good news is I can still make and receive phone calls........

Updates are meant to improve your device Helobubba. I apologize for the difficulites you are experiencing. Allow to help get to the bottom of you flash concerns.

The flash you are receiving is a new flash notification. The good news is there is a way to disable it. To disable flash notification tap on settings>Settings > Accessibility > Flash notification>Disable.
