Thanks so much for the details regarding your S4 mini.
We also want you to have a phone that is working the way you need it to work. After 4 phones with the same issues, have you tried to use the phone in Safe Mode http://vz.to/1tTBBgr? If you have done all of this along with multiple replacements, you can  notify http://bit.ly/1d0cfmk regarding the issues. We can always replace with the same make/model here since that is what the warranty covers.

Yes, I have done safe mode. I have done that with the last 4 phones, I have

taken out the battery and done factory resets.

I have not and will not do it with this phone as there is no need. It is

doing the exact things that others are doing before and and after resets.

The last 2 I got flashed at Best Buy.

If you go and look at all the notes, and all the times I've spent on the

phone and in the stores, with all the different techs, at all the different

times, you will see everything that I've done with all those phones.

As far as I'm concerned, Verizon owes me a phone that works or to let me

out of my contract. As of this moment, S4minis DO NOT WORK. This is a

Verizon problem or a Samsung problem. Not mine. I did not mess up the

phones.

It would really be stupid for Verizon to send me another phone when the

last 4 don't work. The definition of insanity to is to keep doing the same

thing and expect different results.

And I'm not willing to keep doing this; I've spent way to many hours doing

this.

If you can not help me, would you please send me to someone who can.

I WILL NOT TAKE ANOTHER S4MINI. THEY DON'T WORK.

I have also had a live chat with Samsung and they said I needed to send

them in my phone which I said I would not do as I could not be without a

phone for 2 weeks.

That is the reference number with Samsung and this was for the phone before

this one.

This one does the same things.

The last 2, I even removed all the 3rd party apps. Which were 5.

This is a review I just sent to Samsung. After spending at least 46

minutes on the phone with Verizon

They will not send me a different model

I will write them both a letter about this if I'm in the minority in

regards to having trouble with these phones--and there are several others

of you out there--they still need to help me and us get this resolved.

I have had 5 s4minis since December 2013. 3 in the last 4 weeks. They tell

me to send it in--I don't have 10 days to 2 weeks for another phone!

Thanks for putting your customer/s in the middle- bith Samsung and Verizon.

Verizon will not give me a different device, yes they will send out a 6th

phone, or have me pay for an upgrade and sign a new 2 year contract.

Then Verizon needs to cancel my contract.

If the phone worked- and I have safe moded, reset them several times,

reformat sd card, get a new sd card, dumped the 5 apps i had on them,had

the last 2 flashed at Best Buy, and the same issues keep happening.

Yes, I can make and receive calls, I get "messaging has stopped", and texts

"ghost" -- meaning they come up layered over each other and they become

one, when I do a web search, the list of sites to choose from comes up

blurry and I have to touch the screen for them to become clear, I get green

bar/ transpatent bar, promimity sendor doesn't work---on the last 4 phones.

If this has to do with the Kitkat update, WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIX IT????

I have spent to damn much of my time over this phone!

If this is the way Samsung treats its customers, I wont buy another

Samsung anything. And if Verizon can only help me by sending out my 6th

phone---WHICH I DON'T EVEN BOTHER TO SET UP MY WAY BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW

THAT IT WILL ANY BETTER--then they need to cancel my contract. Verizon may

do what it can, but I don't habe a phone to rely on.

This os just ridiculous on both sides !

I'm on my 3rd S4 in three weeks. It overheated, and fried the sim card reader. I had a loaner S3 that went into boot loop 24 hours after having it. All of the three S4s I had have overheated to over 104 degrees.  They are defective. S3/S4/S5...defective.  I've had Samsung phones I've loved.  This series is defective. Verizon really should stop giving them out. They are going to hurt/burn someone.
