Help. I upgraded from my 2yr old Thunderbolt, my it die a slow death, and I happened to have a large number of downloaded apps. Both free and purchased. The conversion to the GS4 went very smoothly. All my contacts, over 1800 downloaded, as well all my apps. Except for one really big issue.
When I go into the Apps/Widgets area of Android 4.2.2 they are in a random order as they were downloaded to my new phone. I have searched all over the place for a way to "Sort" or re-order the Apps/Widgets. I know I can manually re-shuffle them, but I'm not going to do that for 200+ applications. I filtered using the "Downloaded" option still nothing. So everytime I need to get to an app or try and set it up on a home screen, I go hunting and with 200+ apps it's a real pain.
Does anyone know of a way to sort or re-order this area? I'm open to all suggestions. Would love to here from support, as this is going to become a real issue I would think.

You are in luck, mine did the same thing except I found the setting to arrange the apps. When you are in the apps drawer, press the Menu button and look for "View type". Press it and you will have 3 selections to choose from (Customizable grid, Alphabetical grid, or Alphabetical list).
